Meet the Owner,
Jeremy Schoemaker

With a deep passion for boating and a wealth of experience navigating some of the most challenging waters, Jeremy brings unparalleled expertise to the fuel polishing industry. Having safely logged over 30,000 nautical miles running sailboats up to 65 feet along the East Coast, from Northeast Harbor, ME, to St. Thomas, USVI, he has a profound understanding of the importance of clean and efficient fuel systems.

As a delivery captain for nearly ten years, Jeremy understands the frustration and inconvenience of engine failures due to contaminated fuel. Many boat owners, especially those who purchase boats away from their home marina, face the challenge of ensuring their fuel systems are in top condition. This experience has driven him to establish OJ's Fuel Polishing, offering a solution to prevent engine issues caused by dirty or water-laden fuel.

Using his experience as a Construction Project Manager, he led project operations with budgets ranging from $1-2 million for luxury homes valued up to $10 million. Jeremy's responsibilities included procuring project materials, coordinating complex delivery schedules, and overseeing the logistics of obtaining and transporting critical equipment to job sites. He supervised a team of 20 full-time workers across multiple project sites, ensuring maximum efficiency and efficacy through meticulous planning and execution. Jeremy understands what it takes to get a job done.

His extensive travels have taken him through offshore waters, the Intracoastal Waterway, Long Island Sound, East River, Hudson River, Delaware Bay, Delaware River, and Chesapeake Bay. Throughout these journeys, he has been responsible for weather routing, provisioning, crew safety, and boat repairs underway. Holding a United States Coast Guard OUPV near coastal license and being a certified ASA instructor with endorsements 201 to 204 and 212, he is well-equipped to handle any fuel-related challenges that may arise.
